Want to know more about Intellectual Property for grant applications?
15 April 2021, 16:00-17:00
All research projects will generate Intellectual Property (IP), be that know-how, data, copyrightable materials, reagents, protocols, questionnaires or potentially patentable discoveries etc. Funders are increasingly requesting information about IP either in their funding applications or at the post-award stage.
This 1 hour webinar from Dr. Mike Murray, Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence, will help demystify IP. The intended outcome from this training is that attendees will be able to:
identify and distinguish between Background IP and Foreground IP
clarify when material transfer agreements will be needed and how to request these documents.
know the support available within the University to assist with more complicated IP questions.
